Saturday 16th October

1.00 pm Service of celebration at Neuaddlwyd chapel.


The service will be taken by the Rev. Carys Ann, Secretary of Cyfundeb Ceredigion of the Cwrdd Chwarter, and Ministers of the Cwrdd Chwarter De Ceredigion

By kind permission of the Boucher family who now own Ty Ysgol, and the Jenkins family, owners of Penybanc, we will be visiting the site of the school and of the Phillips family farm before and after the service.

Visits are also being arranged to Scythlyn farm, Thomas Phillips’s birthplace and Yr Hen Gapel in Pencader, and possibly to Llanbadarn fawr and Talybont, both chapels established by Thomas Phillips.

Sunday 17th October

Afternoon visit to Pisgah chapel where there will be a warm welcome in the Chapel Vestry, and the Honey Farm in Penrhiwgaled, site of the original chapel where Mary Jones and Thomas Phillips were said to have met for the first time.

    Sorry, I was in such a rush I didn’t look at the website properly – of course the programme is already there! I will try to come on the Saturday.

    Sadly, I only found out about this conference after it had taken place. Please could you tell me if it is at all possible to obtain recordings of the talks given at the conference. While I would be interested in hearing all of them, I have a particular interest in hearing the talks given by Dr Zoe Crossland and Mr Bryan Jones.
