Celebration booklet
I am sorry for the delay in finalizing the report on the October celebrations. Happily the weather was fine on the Saturday and Sunday and there was a great turnout for the service at Neauddlwyd chapel. The Rev. Carys Anne, Secretary of the South Ceredigion Cwrdd Chwarter, took the service and there were eight other ministers from the area who also took part. We were also blessed by the presence of some students from Madagascar who had come from Aberyswyth and Penrhys. The most moving moment for me was standing in Thomas Phillips’pulpit to address the congregation-it is a time I will never forget.
Before and after the service a number of people visited Penybanc farm and the site of the old school, Ty Ysgol, and we are very grateful to Mr and Mrs Jenkins for giving us access to the site and showing us around.
On Sunday we visited the site of Penrhiwgaled chapel, which is now the Honey farm, and we were shown around by Mrs Cooper who had kindly opened the building for us. We travelled back to Pisgah chapel where the ladies had laid on a wonderful tea which we enjoyed before Lloyd Jones took us on a tour of the graveyard and we discovered many descendants of the Phillips family buried there. With a visit to the chapel our weekend was over, but I feel sure that it was enjoyed by all who took part- in total about 120 people.
We have secured the agreement of Trivium, the university printer in Lampeter, to print a 65 page booklet which will contain all the papers from the Friday meeting. This publication will be available to be purchased and I will update the site as publication nears.
Finally, may I thank everyone who came and supported the event and for all the participants and numerous helpers whose efforts made it possible.

I’d love to be able to obtain a copy of the celebration booklet once it is available. Many thanks.
Dear David,
The booklet is presently in the hands of Trivium the publishers and I am awaiting their final approval. As soon as it is available it will be announced on the website.
Kind regards
Bryan
