Zoe
Zoe Crossland is an historical archaeologist based in the Department of Anthropology at Columbia University in New York City . She works in highland Madagascar and became interested in the history of Neuaddlwyd after learning that the first Christian missionaries to the highlands were trained there in the early 19th century. She now works on the archaeology of 19th century mission in Madagascar , carrying out archaeological survey and excavation to better understand how Christianity took root and flourished on the island
